Because sometimes Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is just Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

The traditional chiropractic approach to solving problems of pain, numbness or tingling in the arms or legs is to look to the spine. All the nerves that serve the limbs start in the spinal cord, then they pass through opening between the vertebrae before traveling to the ends of the fingers and toes. Many cases of pain in the arms or legs have been resolved by clearing out nerve interference near the spine. But then again....

Many times the cause of the problem is right where you find the symptoms. Tendons, muscles and nerves can be irritated locally by joints of the limbs that are not aligned or moving properly. Extremity adjusting refers to aligning and mobilizing those joints. Once the joints are moving smoothly, irritation around the joint is reduced and the body can heal itself.

This is why it is important to check the entire path of a nerve, from the spine to the location of symptoms and even beyond that. Sometimes the issue will be right at the spine, where the nerve begins, sometimes further down, sometimes both.
