Arms Legs Hands and Feet PDF Print E-mail

Where do the arms and legs actually begin? The only joint that attaches the arm to the central axis of the body is between your collar bone and breast bone. The nerve that controls your toes starts in your lower back. Think of the body like a sailing ship with one great mast, the spine, and four loose sails, the arms and legs. How many ropes and how many men controlling those ropes would it take to balance and coordinate such a ship?

Problems in the limbs occur in the mechanics of the limbs, the joints and muscles, and/or the controls, the nerves. Just like in the spine, there are areas where the nerves in the limbs come very close to the joints. If you have pain, tingling or numbness in a limb, you need Extremity Adjusting. The nerves also travel through muscles and other tissues as they go from the spine to the ends of our fingers and toes. If a nerve gets stuck in these tissues and can't glide through them as the body moves you will benefit from Nerve Mobilization. If the nerve is irritated at it's root, where it starts at the spine, you will benefit from spinal adjusting.
