I practice heal-thyself chiropractic. Everything I do is directed toward allowing your body to use it's natural ability to attain and sustain optimal health. Because each person is unique, each treatment plan is also unique. I choose the techniques I utilize based on effectiveness and patient comfort. All techniques I use are unified by the common goals of relieving pressure from the nervous system, increasing range of motion and promoting good muscle tone. While some chiropractors strictly adhere to one technique, experience has shown me that my patients benefit when I draw from a range of techniques and adapt my style to the needs of each individual. Chiropractic is both art and science. Through practice and study I constantly strive to deepen my skill and knowledge to assist in the miracle that is human health and healing.

Restoring Motion and AlignmentChiropractic has a long history over which time many different doctors have added new ways to analyse and treat the joints of the body. Traditionally, an adjustment is defined as a quick, short thrust to a joint to restore motion and relieve inflammation and nerve irritation. This kind of adjustment is often accompanied by a little pop as the joint releases. You may receive this kind of adjustment seated, standing or lying on your back or stomach. The majority of traditional adjustments are done by hand at Balance Chiropractic, but in some cases we may opt to use a little spring loaded device called an Activator or a drop piece. |
